What will this make meaningful for you?
I am interested in being a part of a community that is systematically trying to address the ways in which different disciplines communicate concepts in order to try to bridge those differences. While I have engaged in collaborative writing, wiki writing is new to me so I am also looking forward to better understanding this mode of collecting and sharing information. My own academic experience is varied but in recent years I've spent alot of time amonsgt other educational researcher. Learning more about the language of other disciplines feel like a really useful way for me to also have a greater impact in my work helping academics develop their educational practices.
I'm also really interested to learn why we think it's imporant that the disciplines can speak to each other, and how we communicate that message to others in academia.
